Parents need convenient resources to use at home with their children. There is nothing out on the market that provides enough practice to give reading mastery for the beginning reader. Reading Tool Kits fill the gap.
Dedicated teachers search out relevant materials to aide their students. Reading Tool Kits are tailor-made for their classrooms.
What makes this series unique?
I believe students need phonetic instruction that goes beyond learning the sounds of the individual letters of the alphabet. Exercises in this series give the student practice in smoothly blending consonants and vowels together. Students learn the codes that help them recognize word patterns.

Tool Kits fill the gap between Kindergarten and 1st grade. Children still struggling to read in 1st and 2nd grade find this material most helpful. This covers ages 5 ½ to about 8 years of age. Older nonreaders benefit just as successfully from Reading Tool Kits.
